To ensure the safety of our riders and staff, and to follow NZ’s Level 2 restrictions, outlined below is what you can expect at Bay Skate:

  • Bay Skate is limited to 95 visitors at any given time. The team will be counting visitors in and out of the park. Please be patient if you need to wait.

    • One session per day on week-days so Monday to Friday 3pm to 8pm.
    • Two sessions on weekends, public and school holidays. These being 10am - 3pm and 3pm to 8pm (5 hour sessions).
    • Customers will only be able to attend one session a day until further notice.
  • Once you’ve entered Bay Skate and choose to leave, you will not be allowed back in for the day. This allows other riders to use the park.
  • During Level 2 we won’t be using wristbands, This means if you leave Bay Skate you won’t be able to come back in. Bring everything you need for your visit.

  • Facemasks for riders (and spectators) 12 years and over must be worn at all times. – When not riding

  • Please social distance by keeping at least two metres apart from other riders and staff. There will be floor markings in high flow areas.

  • If groups gather outside the entrance doors please practice social distancing of two meters.
